Well..I have been getting semi hourly updates from Fulch concerning my bike. A quick history on the bike:
1999 while living in Florida I convinced wifey that a motorcycle was the appropriate solution to our one car marriage. She agreed.
1999 I take a motorcycle rider safety course and learn to ride.
One week later I find the perfect bike.
I rode that bike until September 2001 when I laid it down.
I put 9500 miles on it in that time frame.
After the accident in 2001, the bike sat all winter in my garage.
I worked on it a bit summer 02, 03 and 04.
Fulch needed a project and the bike went to him on Saturday. He reports that barring any fork damage, I could be road ready by Easter. Woohoo..
SO..the bike is in his hands..as I get pics of his progress..I will report back to you all that care.
Here is the short list of repairs:
Carb rejet/reuild and cleaning
Paint job..black to yellow.
New exhaust
New mirrors
New back tire
New lights
Removal of back fender piece
New grips
New clutch and throttle cables
