Today I was able to run 3/4 mile at one stretch. That felt good. I think I could have pushed it and went a full mile but the first aid monitor was starting to stare. So I slowed it down.
Walked 1/4, Ran 3/4, Walked 1/4 and Ran 1/2. For a final two mile time of 27:59. This is two minutes better than last week. I think Tuesday I will walk 1/4 and run 3/4 two times. Pushing my “running”, jogging, 1.5 miles of the two miles. I hope to move along pretty quick to running the entire 30 minutes I have free during the lunch hour.
Perhaps I will start a longer time amount on Saturdays. Perhaps 3 miles of walking and jogging could and should be the goal for Saturdays.
